This Privacy Policy explains how Burgerizza ("we", "us", or "our")
collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Burgerizza mobile
application (the "App"). Burgerizza is a food ordering and delivery service operated
in Hyderabad, Pakistan. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
Information We Collect
We collect the following information so we can process and deliver your orders:
- Account information: your name, phone number, and (if you sign in with Google) your email address.
- Delivery address & location: the delivery addresses you save, and your device location when you choose to use it to set or find your delivery address. Location is used only while you are using the App for this purpose.
- Order information: the items you order, order history, and order status.
- Device & notification information: a push notification token used to send you order updates.
- Photos (optional): if you choose to set a profile picture, the image you select.
Burgerizza accepts Cash on Delivery only. We do not
collect or store credit card, debit card, or other payment-card information.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account.
- To process, prepare, and deliver your orders.
- To show your order status and enable live delivery tracking.
- To send you notifications about your order (for example, when it is confirmed, prepared, on the way, or delivered).
- To operate our loyalty/rewards points program.
- To respond to your support requests, feedback, and complaints.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to provide the service:
- Delivery riders: your name, phone number, and delivery address are shared with the rider assigned to your order so they can deliver it.
- Service providers: we use trusted third-party services to run the App, including Supabase (database and authentication), Google Firebase (push notifications), and Google Maps (address and location features). These providers process data on our behalf.
- Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law.
Data Security
Your information is transmitted over secure, encrypted (HTTPS) connections and stored
using industry-standard security practices. While no method of transmission or storage
is completely secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide
the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time
(see "Your Rights" below).
Your Rights
- You can view and update your profile information within the App.
- You can request a copy or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at the email below.
- You can disable location and notification permissions at any time in your device settings.
Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal
information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this
page with an updated "Last updated" date.
